During the Lockdown of 2020, I spearheaded Late Night Gamechat on YouTube. The idea is simple: every few nights we head online to get our game on. Thing is, I never really know who’s joining in. Some nights I go solo and play games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Horizon while talking about relevant things (writing, prepping). Other nights I’m met with a host of friends and we play online shooters like Call of Duty and Fortnite.
I’ve played with some greats (authors Michael Hicks and Robert “Sharky” Pruneda, actors Casper Van Dien, Nathan Fillion – a Halo fanatic), but I also play with close friends and Book Commander supporters. I won’t lie – space is limited – and language is usually not PG-13. I personally don’t drop the dirty words but most of the guys I play with do. Consider yourself warned.
The gaming sessions stream live on my Twitter account and I “try” to interact with tweets during the stream. If you’re one of the few who support Book Commander via PayPal, please drop your gamer tag in the comment box. I’ll do my best to add you!
