Exciting news…I’m proud to announce that I’ve been approached by The Walter Day Project! For those of you who aren’t familiar, Walter Day is the man who put competitive gaming on the map. He’s recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the official referee for world championship gaming competitions, he is the founder of the world’s most famous arcade, and he is the arcade referee featured in the motion picture Wreck-It Ralph!
What does this have to do with the Book Commander? Walter Day also spearheads a trading card company that covers all things pop culture – from gaming to science fiction writing. Walter has selected a handful of authors and stories that matter in the world of science fiction, both past and present. What’s more impressive, folks, is that a mere handful of the selected authors are indie authors, and I’m proud to announce that he’s elected to plaster my ugly mug on card #238.
This entire set (including my favorite, card #238) will be available for worldwide purchase along with a book featuring all of the cards and signed by none other than Walter Day!
